On the occasion of the Wonderfest Shanghai 2026, Blokees held a dedicated space for its various ranges, including Transformers.
This is an opportunity for us to discover two new characters made in Champion Class (Classic Class): Optimus Prime and Starscream, both drawn from the Skybound comics! It is a real pleasure to see more characters from the comics, and not just any characters. Optimus arrives as expected with the right arm and the cannon of Megatron (removable), as well as a matrix in the chest.
Starscream, on the other hand, is the most original. In addition to possessing Megatron in gun mode, he can disassemble to attach to the top of a HISS Tank. A look he maintains for several issues after his defeat against Soundwave, which was a big novelty. By offering this, Blokees targets the fans of the character, but also of his unprecedented narrative arc in this story.
On the Action Edition side, as revealed beforehand, Megatron from the IDW comics will be the next character to be adapted to this large format. This is the very popular Autobot Megatron from the More Than Meet the Eye and Lost Light comics, written by James Roberts from 2012 to 2018. Two versions were presented here: a classic one, and a transparent one, but it is still unclear whether the transparent version will be marketed on a large scale.
The most intriguing point of this reveal remains the space bridge present at the back, from which several pieces of prototypes of future Blokees emerge: parts of a Bumblebee from the Bayverse, a Megatron The Last Knight, and a cyber-key from Transformers Cybertron! Certainly, Blokees has not finished surprising us.
